On The Lookout (Acoustic Preview)
Now that you didn't hear a lot from my side recently I will now introduce you to my new series of videos. As I plan to finally release the album this year, I will shoot some acoustic versions beforehand. And I am happy to hereby present the first in the line:
The footage for this video was shot in our cold sauna and around my hometown Füssen. Follow me on a little walk over the hills. You will also hear a snippet from the L.A. studio version.
Here is the story that goes along with it:
See the sequence where I'm lying down on the bench (That's at 3:24). If you take a close look you will see something drop. Yes that's my phone. I didn't notice I was missing something so I went on with my walk through the woods and over the hills shooting the nature material you see in the video. Two or three hours later I finally came home, put water on the stove - for some tea - and I transfered the videos to my laptop. Of course I couldn't resist to find if they were good so I started to watch some of them. When I came to the sequence on the bench I noticed something drop...
I watched it again. And Again. Damn! That's my phone. I called. No one answered. Ran in the car, drove there, ran up the hill like a fool - testing out my tidal volume. On top, on the bench, sat a young guy. He was from Afghanistan and studied in Munich. He saw my concquest of the hill and was happy that I had returned to pick up the phone he had secured for me!
Exhausted, I sat down, happy, looking out at the scenery and talking a while.
So If you ever plan to lose your phone here are my recommendations:
1. Take it on camera!
2. Make sure you watch the footage in time!
3. Have someone honest and helpful there to secure the thing!
Thank you Omaid!
Thank You, Simon, for the additional camera work;)
